Annika Charlotta Sorenstam is a Swedish professional golfer. Her name is often cited as one of the best female golfers to ever. After stepping out of competition golf towards the close of 2008's golf season, she had won nearly 90 international competitions as professional golfer, which makes her the female golfer who has the most wins in her name. Annika Sorenstam, well-known golfer in Sweden well-known for her impressive performances on the female-only golf circuit. Prior to leaving, her competition was 2008. With over 90 wins in international tournaments, she's been acknowledged as the best female golfer to ever play. Annika took home 72 LPGA tournaments, ten majors and 18 other competitions across the globe. Annika, born in 1970 on the 9th day of October and celebrated her 50th anniversary in 2020. She has parents named Tom And Gunilla. Tom was an IBM executive while her mother was employed at a bank. There is a sister that is a pro golfer as well as is a coach for Annika Academy. Both sisters were among the first on the LPGA Tour to break the milestone of 1,000,000. Mike McGee is her husband and they have two sons, Madelyn McGee & William Nicholas McGee. Annika McGee along with Mike were married on the 10th January 2009. Annika was an avid golfer right from the beginning of her life. She was a tennis and soccer player on the national stage at the age of a junior. She was also a fantastic skier too and that inspired their family to Sweden to play professional sport. In 1994, she qualified to play in the LPGA Final Tournament. She won the very first professional event of her career, ALPG Tour Australia. She was named LPGA rookie of the year following her finish third in the rankings. Annika was the winner of her first LPGA Tour event in 1995 in the US Women Open. She was the only non-American to secure this Vare trophy. And, in addition to that, Annika was even named 1 among the Money list. Annika decided to withdraw from competition during the 2008 season. In the same night, she threw the first pitch of the game's baseball. Recent victory came during an elimination match at the Suzhou Taihu ladies' open. This event was a joint venture between Ladies European Tour and Ladies Asian Tour.
