Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Suresh (born 17 October 1992) is an Indian actress, who is primarily in Tamil and Telugu films in addition to several Malayalam films. She was awarded an award called the National Film Award as Best Actress in the year 2018 in the role of actress Savitri which was in the Telugu movie Mahanati. She also won an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actor Menaka G. Suresh. She started her career as a child actress at the beginning of 2000 and returned to films after studying fashion design. She played her debut main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy signed her first Tamil projects in the year 2015. She then started accepting projects from Malayalam. In the year 2015, she debuted A. A. Vijay's romantic comedies Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against each other. But, both films did not do well at the theaters. A busy schedule during 2015 led her to opt out of films that she was already developing, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye as well as Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, in order to take on bigger projects. In the end, she was involved in two projects together with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo as well as playing the leading character for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari and Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to release in Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. In 2015, the film was later delayed and reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to be released in September of 2020. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja with Ram Pothineni, was her debut.
